No... it's just a new thing I'm doing that I hope you guys will start doing too. Sometimes I read entries and don't know who wrote them because I'm reading it quickly and forget to check.
It makes it a lot easier to figure out who wrote the entry if it's signed. Blogger kind of buries the signature by making it a colored link.

I don't know Mark. That is a little ridiculous.
The first thing I do when reading a post is check who wrote it. Unless it ends in an ellipsis, then I know you are the culprit.
I am going to object purely on aesthetic grounds.
