Yeah. I've actual never heard the term... and the site is such a blatant rip off of http://ytmnd.com/, I don't think I'd give it any credit for being an Internet meme.

i just meant the term and the infestation of lol in all discourse: eg. lollerskates.

is lol infesting all discourse? i'm not sure i've ever used lol except to type it, and to be honest, i don't think i've even done that since the days of BBS's and IRC.

smilies are much more prominent these days.

p.s. personally i find the term (and animated gif) kinda funny.
