Influence Factor: 12%
Well, despite the high profile Breaking News here, the Derelict Morning News (excuse me, Deseret...) is reporting overwhelming support for the skybridge.
Which, defluffed, means that about 47% of the people who matter definitely support it (to the 12% who definitely don't).

The poll is well worded too.
It is not asking whether people are in favor of/against the skybridge, but on the issue of "letting the church build it".
So basically 100% of Mormons support it, and everyone else is either against it or unsure. I wonder if the survey question included the bit about how The Church would be building the bridge... :)
I wondered if that is exactly how the poll question was worded too.
But it's not a religious thing. Look Catholics and Protestants support it too ;)
"the real-estate arm of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints"
who cares what the people think? the last time the people of salt lake did something right was when they reelected rocky in 2004. and rocky doesnt want the sky bridge. so fuck the people--they only get a voice in city affairs once every four years.
