3rd Person voice says, 'Mark is unsuprised by San Antonio's victory.'
Also, how about those people throwing things at the Refs and at the Spurs. Really hits home that clean-cut conservative reputation Utah has. Classy.
Also add Derek Fisher's playing dirty to that. (Not that Manu doesn't deserve it. He's a total flop bitch.)
mark - i don't know what game you were watching. . . .
i agree with you about throwing shit, that's not cool.
but the referees (especially Steve Javie) really jobbed the Jazz.
the spurs shot 41 free throws to the jazz' 20. 15 of those came from ginobili.
i actually like ginobili as a player, but flopping pisses me off. especially in soccer, but it sucks in basketball too. fisher's dirty play looked to me like manu's best flop of the night.
now i'm not saying that's the reason the jazz lost, they played terribly, but i just don't understand when san antonio became the referee's darlings. first vs. phoenix and now the jazz. you think they're trying to make up for joey crawford's ejection of tim duncan?
steve javie reffed the game in phoenix where horry knocked nash into the scorers table too btw.
that said. . .
it's been a good season, and i do think that spurs are better than the jazz. . .
i'm happy
I agree with everything you've said and think that Steve Javie is a terrible referee.
That said, you have to win games with the bad calls and the bad refs. The Jazz weren't able to do that, and several Jazz players and fans lost their cool.
Also, from what I read on wikipedia, Javie's mentor was Crawford. So if anything, he should be going after the Spurs and Duncan for ending his friend's career. Should.
i agree. you gotta win anyway.
Javie has always been crushing on Duncan. Remember the 20-odd free throws he handed Duncan in Game 7 against Dallas last year?
I am willing to man up and admit defeat (Jazz got outclassed in the first two), but Game 4 was simply terrible. More FTs than FGs? That is some horseshit.
