sam: pic 2 left to right - someone's legs, jane, some dude, nell, eric, ian, 3/4 of a very young (and dashing) sam. oh, and some dog in the foreground.

i think sam was asking where location-style we were.
somebody was house sitting that winter break. but i don't remember who. thus explaining the random dog. also, that dude is jane's ex. the democrat one.
word, that makes more sense.
i remember the housesitting house. i think ben was the caretaker. (not to be confused with gatekeeper.)
