Jim and Dwight
If watching nothing but "Football and Football related TV shows" for a year can adversely effect your IQ ("scientists did this big test," guys, seriously), I would hypothesize that watching nothing but old episodes of The Office for two weeks can make you quantifiably funnier. I've been conducting a little experiment of my own and I'm prepared to release the initial results of my study. I haven't done any data crunching just yet, but below are some raw photos documenting evidence which ostensibly supports my hypothesis:

LAST IMAGE = GREATEST THING EVER!
Goldsmith is there some sort of church in which I can worship you?
He even kinda looks like Dwight, don't you think?
Kind of. I actually think he looks a lot more like Stephen Merchant. The co-creator of the original British version of The Office.
Oh yes... and you are definitely right about The Office. In my experiments, it even makes mundane work experiences more interesting.
Example: I went to "Paper School" at a local paper company last week. (Now, that screams The Office, I know, but let me finish.)
Anyway, when the "Teacher" was explained dot gain, she used a metaphor that involved Karl Malone ("he's already tall, like the grain of the paper, and is likely to get fatter over time"). She draws a black, dry erase line on a whiteboard representing Malone, pauses and says, "I probably shouldn't have used a black pen."
That really happened?! Can I come work with you?
i wish i had an office where i could be funny. logan, you feel me?
Just look in the mirror Sam!
Mark have you seen Extras yet? It is frivolous and funny.
Ignignokt laughs in the face of your primitive Earth pranks. We have far surpassed such simple shenanigans on the Moon. We have gone so far as to encase entire planets and solar systems in what your primitive language calls gelatin.
