Nerd Alert 7.10

News update: Steam's Summer Camp Sale EVISCERATES Logan's wallet.

He went so far as to buy the entire iD collection just to play Hexen 2. Nerd!

Also, he is currently debating between impatiently waiting for Season 2 of Game of Thrones or impulsively reading the entire Song of Ice and Fire series just to avoid spoilers. Talk about a nerdlemma!

i was thinking i'd wait impatiently, but i hadn't thought of the spoiler minefield i'm tiptoeing through every day.

i'm just getting around to the girl with the dragonballZ tattoo series, so i'll probably just wait.

I tried reading it... but it was a little too much for me.

Now I'm on to Jonathan Safran Foer books. Apparently I'm back in graduate school (though with more patience for dialects).

Adding to the dilemma: I think I enjoyed watching the series more than I do reading the books.

Brad: Girl with the Dragon Tattoo series is pretty good and I think Fincher is going to knock the adaptation out of the park. I might even recommend just waiting for the movie. Third book sucks though.

Mark: Didn't you know that Ben ghostwrote all of those Foer books?

Question: Are these Steam games Mac compatible or are you using Parallels or VM Ware?

About half of the games were Mac compatible. For everything else I just use Boot Camp. I don't really have any need to run both OSes simultaneously.
