Having just read Watchmen, it looks like Snyder is trying to follow the original story within an inch of its life. And not in a good way.

Also, the mainstream audience is going to think that Watchmen ripped off Heroes (and not vice-versa).

d l wright said...: Unfortunately for Snyder, The Dark Knight negates any need for a Watchmen movie. This needed to come out after Spider-man 3 or X-men 3 when the whole comic book adaptation genre needed some lambasting.
