E3: Singularization

Microsoft is still not ashamed to rip off other peoples' better ideas.

And the ability to stream movies from Netflix opens up a new flank in the living room arms race. The great technological convergence is at hand.

Give it a few hours. Microsoft is saying it's an exclusive partnership. But there were rumors of Netflix on PS3 too. And the PS3 can do Netflix HD.

E3 is so bad now. Mark, I bet you couldn't find a Real World celebrity there even if you tried.

Penny Arcade had a pretty good wrap up of everything.

Nintendo really needs to give me another reason to start caring about the Wii again.

Yeah, the new E3 was totally a joke. I can't think of two games announced or demoed that even remotely grabbed my interest. (Fallout 3 is all. RE5 looks good... but just like RE4.)

And what do you mean about Nintendo? You don't want to play a port of a DS game and having fishing contests with your friends? :)

Also, this is one of the funnier Penny Arcades in recent memory.

Regardless of E3, Nintendo has not yet laid out any sort of road map to indicate where the Wii is going.

They have already mined all of their main franchises for the next generation. So where to now?
