The post in which I rank the NBA Western Conference Playoff teams.

2. San Antonio Spurs
3. Denver Nuggets
4. Houston Rockets

We were going to have to play the Lakers eventually. Might as well be in the first round.
Part of me feels like Boozer has checked out already.
Meh. This season has been an uneven disappointment from start-to-finish. The only bright spots are that AK has improved enough to maybe be trade-able and that Millsap has proven he is as good as Boozer.
I'm not sure I agree with either of those statements Mark. We'll have to hope that the Knicks decide they want AK. (Who would be great in a D'Antoni system by the way.) Even then we'd have to take one of the knicks' awful contracts. Noone in their right mind would take AK's contract at this point.
As for Boozer vs. Millsap. Sap doesn't have the offensive skills that Boozer does, which is not to say he doesn't do his thing offensively, he's fine. He doesn't make the entire offense better the same way Boozer can. He also seems to be unable to play 38 minutes without getting into foul trouble.
As for the Lakers; dammit dammit dammit. I am going to hate losing to the Lakers so much, I hate them all, Luke Walton, Kobe Bryant, Phil Jackson, Bynum, Gasol, Vujacic, Ariza, Farmar. Wish the Jazz still had Fisher, Brevin Knight is a schlub, and it's not harder to fly your kid from SLC to NY than it is from LA to NY. Dammit.
Man Brad. You just love to disagree with me about Basketball. Hey, how did you do in our fantasy league this year :P
Yeah I probably shouldn't have picked Boozer, or Calderon.
I actually like Millsap more than Boozer and I think the Jazz should let Boozer go, but given the choice without money as an issue, I'd choose Boozer.
If AK were more consistent I would agree with you about his tradeability.
No. I do think you're right about AK. If I were a GM, I wouldn't want him either. Unless, as you also said, I was the GM of the Knicks... or Golden State.
Why would anyone want to pay for AK's contract?
