E3: Ignoration
Mark. My nerdy gaming board crashed months ago so I am in the dark when it comes to E3 news.
I watched Reggie on the live stream, but beyond online Mario Kart and that Metroid Prime playing babe the whole conference looked like a wash.
Anything I should know or be looking forward to?

You should know that Nintendo is more interested right now in selling Wii Fit to Soccer Moms for $99.99 a pop (my guess) than making games that you'll like.
You should also know that the Nintendo DS is now the market leader with the Wii in second place so other people will be making the games you want to play. And so will Nintendo, it just won't be Nintendo's first priority.
Finally, you should know that since E3 was gutted this year, the press conferences are becoming somewhat obsolete. Expect to know everything you want to only after this year's Leipzig, PAX and TGS shows.
Personally, I think Wii Fit looks pretty cool.
I forgot about the re-formatting of E3. That explains the emphasis on market shares and the lack of real excitment from the crowd.
I guess I was just bummed that there was really nothing new shown -- we have been waiting for Mario Kart, Smash Brothers, and Metroid Prime since the last E3.
Phantom Hourglass and Brain Age 2 will keep me happy.
