Proof that the most important video game system is the one no on is talking about.

Mark, you coy bastard! You disappear on us and then all we get is a posting about DQ IX!
This means the DS is now going to sell a billion units in Japan. I also don't know if you noticed this. I wish there were some different characters involved (Fran/Balathier), but you know I am not complaining (yet).
Final Fantasy XIII is exploring the new convergent culture by creating a narrative environment that is going to be spread across numerous platforms. I wouldn't be surprised for a DS entry.
But I guess the most impressive element of the DQ announcement is that it really pushes the DS as a tier 1 system that will no longer be regulated to quirky gimmicks or spin-offs and remakes (not that it is, but you know).
I did notice that... but not having played FFXII it meant next to nothing to me.
Not that I'll play Dragon Quest IX either... it just has a profound meaning in terms of the support DS is receiving and can look forward to receiving from Japanese developers. Your last paragraph really hits the nail on the head.
Also... how about some updated Wii impressions from you and Ben? You've had the system for a few weeks now. Are you still getting in a lot of action with your Wiis?
*snicker*
mark's attention and energy must be diverted, i count one typo per his last two posts. . .
again,
sorry i'm an ass.
Where's the typo here?
the one no on is talking about.
and
We planned out honeymoon. . . .
Brad, you need to focus more of your energy on your Fantasy team so you can beat Trevor this week.
work is deader than peter boyle.
not even freddy adu, finals, fantasy football playoffs, my cape verdian e-mail sex, and nytimes.com can keep me busy.
i said i was sorry.
Yep... those are typos. It's almost like I don't proofread my posts :P
...wait. Cape Verde sex emails?
To get back to the question at hand...
I was too busy finishing FFXII to give the Wii very much time. Still digging Trauma Center and I have the same gripes with Zelda. After turning into a shadow form for the first time, I got stuck in a cell for awhile. Nobody told me I could still attack... had to look it up :( But, it has started to pick up. The graphics are really nice.
Haven't thought about picking up Sports again.
Nintendo sets multiple sales records.
