So did you watch a live video feed... I would have, but I'm at work and that would be wrong. (Plus, I couldn't get the feed to run on a Mac...)
I wonder how much different the GC and Wii versions of Zelda will be. Different enough for duplicate purchases? Also, I need those new Mario and Zelda DS games.
Yeah. I somehow slept through class for the first time ever ;_; so - i cried a little bit on the inside and geeked it up by watching the live feed.
It was simultaneously exhilarating and underwhelming. While Metroid Prime 3: Corruption, Mario Galaxy, and Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess should be great, I was more excited by the innovative games Nintendo was hinting at. Like an orchestra game where you conduct old gaming classics, or a Mario Party-esque filled with simple mini-games. Metroid and Zelda still look like they could be running off a Gamecube, which is fine, but a bit disappointing - although I think there is probably some graphical subtleties that my 300k connection couldn't pick up on. I don't think it will warrant duplicate purchases - I think they are the exact same game, but I guess it could be fun to compare and contrast.
Certainly a solid presentation - but it is impossible to tell how successful the Wii is without a test drive. Nintendo is looking good. I am really curious to see how the console wars shape up the generation.
Oh Shit -- I just saw some screen shots of the totally revamped FFIII DS! A reservation for the DS Lite it is. I hope I can still get like 20 dollars for my GBA.

ZOMG Classic Controller Wii.
Blast Corps coming liek what?
And Starfox need to have rail-levels, because those free-movement stages were always ass.

Metroid and Zelda at launch! SSB with Snake!
Oh God! I can't believe how cool the SSB trailer was.
JIGGLYPUFF VS. SOLID SNAKE is about as ridiculously awesome as MEGAMAN VS. RYU.
SHOW-TIME!
SHOOTAIMU-DA!
