The one and only...
Our good friend "Brent" (sic) Goldsmith got a shout out on x96's Radio From Hell program today for one of his upcoming campaigns.
Apparently, "Brent" and his PETA friends are going to be burning an effigy of The Colonel at the world's first KFC, right here in Salt Lake City, sometime in the near future.
Maybe some information about this exciting event will appear here soon.
Either that or "Brent" can post a comment here with the date, address and other salient details.

Ben missed the alley oop!
Apparently the Colonel didn't take the alley oop either. The protest was last Friday (March 3rd).
You can download an interview Ben did with a local NPR station here.
(The effigy wouldn't burn... I wonder what that means... maybe it's a sign from the chicken gods.)
I kind of wonder how safe this whole event was... do you think Ben is trained in the art of burning effigies?
Can we also talk about how awesome the word effigy is and how none of the other synonyms come close to being as badass?
Why do I always think that Tom Petty song is about living life in effigy?
It is a mystery!
????????????????????????????????????????????????????
